3)they don’t listen to him they think he is crazy and they think he is making it all up.

4)he is trying to the reader that they should of listen to the poor man instead of ignoring him he is also trying to say that god gave them a hint a warning to leave and hide but they just didn’t listen.

5)they kept moving the jews from place to place into smaller and smaller places first the ghetto then another and another so on and so fourth to take over the whole city easily.

6)Elie’s family was spilt up as soon as they got to aushwitz because the nazi’s didn’t want the men and women together.

six passages

Posted on December 15, 2010 in Uncategorized by jamie1011

1)passage”man questions god and god answers but we don’t understand his answers “(2).

my reaction to this quote was a little confusing . I thought about this and what it ment to me , i then got my answer it meeans that god helps in the most desperate times n for who he wants . Also i think i means he helps people in weird ways and he is slow to notice you need help.

2)passage”you must first study the basic subjects within your own understanding”(2)

when i read this i was blown away because to me its so deep. this is deep to me because to me i think it means think about what you know about yourself before trying to understand anyone anyone else. Also stay within yourself before trying to understand anything or anyone else.

3)passage”not to learn it by heart but to extract the divine essence from it”(3)

I like this quote alot.It is very unique to me i like it because to me i think it means that do learn everything your gonna need by heart but to get your own understanding of it out of it and get the secrete of it out of   what your want to learn .Also try to get into it a like it to get something really deep out of it like a life lesson.

4)passage”work is liberty”(43)

i was really confused by this. I really didn’t understand this quote at first but then i started to try and dig deeper to extract the divine essence from this quote.I think this means without work there is no liberty , without work there is no world to live in there would be nothing including liberty without work . thats what i think this quote means.

5)Passage”i pray to god that he will give me the strength to ask him the right questions”(3)

this is a really good quote i think.I think this is a really good quote because Elie  was scared , he was scared of  Moshe the beadle not being proud of him for not now the right answers also for not knowing the right questions to ask god.

they are related

The story and the poem are related because the lady in the poem is telling her son to not give up on life and go to crime no matter how poor you are.In the story thank u ma’am ms.Jones  takes the boy to her house washes him up and asks him why he tried to steal  her purse and he replies because i wanted to get blue suede shoes and had no money she tells him to never steal or try and steal again.

marigolds

Dear  Collier,

you were wrong about the story marigolds, saying it wasn’t good enough to be published. I say this because it was a pretty good story. I think this because in the story they mess with ms.Lottie and the author explains this in great detail, also its about a time i her life and she shared it in this book. Also she says her friends talk her into (peer pressure) throwing rocks at ms.Lotties house and destroying her flowers.later on in the story she regrets doing what she did because she found out that ms.Lottie died after she  did that and she lost her innocents. so i feel that the author at one point in her life she reached level six (a higher way of thinking in life)and she still regrets what she did to this day.

Yes i am interested in buying an electric car.One reason I would buy an electric is because it’s better for the economy and the planet.I would also buy the car because the volts base price is $41,000 dollars but there is gonna be discounts on the car so it makes it cheap and affordable for the middle class people.Another reason I would buy it is because you can travel up to 245 miles on a single charge. Also if i moved to new york there will be charge stations. My last reason for buying an electric car is because there “green”.They give off no emissions, and they are vast;y cleaner then carbon-dioxide-spewing gas powered vehicles.
